LUSH REVIEW: The Sacred Lotus Bath Bomb!

So this has got to be my favourite bath bomb of all time! This was the most satisfying bath bomb to watch and the pay off was ridiculously amazing.

We’ll start with how it looks before being put in the water. The bath bomb essentially looks like it has been cut in half to reveal this amazing shimmer ball in the middle. Lush then added petals on the side of the bath bomb, which I knew before buying would come away to create amazing colours. The smell of this bath bomb is what you would expect from the name of it, very floral. I love them scents as it’s such a fresh yet sweet smell that sticks to you when you come out of the bath.

When you initally put it in the bath, the smell just fills the room! These lovely swirls of purple float around the bath as the petals come off and create such a lovely pattern. This is quite a slow fizzer but so worth it in the end.

I was really interested in what colour the yellow and purple would create at the end of the fizzing but it turned out to be a lovely pale pink which was so pretty. It also had the best shimmer I have ever seen. When you moved the water around the shimmer would move with it. However, the shimmer didn’t stick to you like some of the others do so I was really happy about that! Wish I could’ve got a real picture of the shimmer but it is such a lovely surprise at the end!

Hands down, my favourite bath bomb wish it was in more than just Oxford Street! Will definitely be buying this again.

Cherry Bathe Well bath bomb: Bomb cosmetics review!

Hey guys, this is my first review of a bath bomb that wasn’t made by lush cosmetics, very brave of me!

So this is something my good friends from fizzbeautyreviews introduced me to and I fell for it just from the amazing cherry scent. I’ve always been a sucker for sweet scents and this bath bomb smells just like cherry bakewell tarts which are probably my favourite treats!

In terms of presentation, this is probably better than most bath bombs I’ve seen. It simply does look good enough to eat, with sprinkles all around the top as well. However, in the bath it didn’t do anything magnificent which is probably what a lot of people expect from a bath bomb. For me this wasn’t an issue, I love a nice plain relaxing bath and this is what this bath bomb gave me.

The smell fills the room when you place it in the bath and really does linger nicely. It is a fast fizzer which is a good thing if you just want to hop in the bath and still have that nice treat. Also, you can really feel the moisturising benefits this product has when you get in the bath and after!

So overall, I think this bath bomb is definitely worth a try and I definitely will be buying more from bomb cosmetics in the future.

LUSH REVIEW: My Skin Care Routine!

Hey guys!

So I’ve been saving this review for a while now, I wanted to make sure that it works for my skin before I share my experience with you guys. The products I’m reviewing today are only two of my skin care products, I usually use a cleanser as well but as I’m going away tomorrow I thought I’d show you my routine that is quick and easy!

So ultrabland is a lush product which I actually swear by! It is a facial cleanser and you use it by applying it all over your face and then using a damp cloth or cotton wool to take it off. It is absolutely amazing for taking off makeup. It can even take off mascara and it only takes a few seconds! Not only that but it is so natural with the main ingredient being almond oil, it really treats the skin. Lush also recommend that if you have break outs, use nothing but this product for a month to clear the skin and it has definitely helped with mine.

So after using ultrabland I always use Imperials, a lush facial moisturiser. This one is filled with tiger lily and orange flower extracts and smells absolutely incredible. It is for all skin types and can be used as a day or night cream and I’d say it is the most versatile of the lush facial moisturisers. I do this routine when I wake up and when I go to bed and have noticed the difference in how radiant my skin is looking already! I also suffer with really bad dark circles but this has actually helped a lot as well.  I would recommend this product highly, it isn’t too expensive either, think it was about 12 pound and I’ve had my pot for over a month now and still have a lot left.

Hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if you want me to review my other parts of my skin care or anything else!

The golden wonder is a citrus fragranced bath bomb which is shaped like a cute Christmas gift. From the exterior; as you probably guessed from the name it is gold and sparkly but it actually in cases loads of amazing blues which come to life in the bath! It actually has a similar affect as the bath bomb frozen as it has a lovely shimmer to it which will leave you all sparkly!

Overall, I think the smell is fresh and amazing and the actual colours are probably my favourite out of all the bath bombs! If you want to try it you have to get it soon, they’ll be gone after Christmas 😦

 Thanks for reading! Xxx

LUSH REVIEW #2: Five Favourite Products!

So since everyone enjoyed my previous lush post I thought I would do another one since I adore the brand so much. These are my top five favourite products at the moment, this probably will change but I would say this is a good range of products for anyone who is just starting out or hasn’t tried them before as they’re all very nice! I’ll order this from my least favourite to my most favourite to make it interesting.

5.93,000 Miles Shower Jelly 100g = £3.75:

93,000 miles

So my boyfriend being the lovely person he is, decided to buy me this as a surprise when he was visiting me and I had a bad back. If you’ve never came across a shower jelly before, you basically either break a bit off and use it like you would a soap or go for it and use the whole thing as a soap. Its main ingredients are Eucalyptus and Peppermint Infusion, Cinnamon Leaf Oil and Peppermint Oil. Eucalyptus is used to aid fevers, aching joints and for skin problems as this product suggests on the packaging, it is really good for those who work out to have in a after work out shower or even if you just have an achy back (like me). Also, the woody/spicy aroma of the cinnamon leaf oil works to fight fatigue and also is used to stimulate the skin and improve circulation. This little jelly does more than just wash, it actually does help when you’re feeling down. The only thing that puts this one at the bottom of my favourites is it has a very particular smell, the eucalyptus is often used in throat lozenges for its herbal benefits, which is why the smell reminds me of herbal tablets. Overall, I would say that this shower jelly does help with muscle pain, especially after a hard day and allows me to go to sleep not aching!

4. Rose Jam Bubbleroon Bubble Bar £3.75:IMG_0265

So this one I bought for the amazing Rose Jam scent that lush have put in a lot of their products, it is the most sweet and floral scent ever! I put it in my university room and seriously it has made the whole room smell perfumed, it’s so nice. So you use this sweet bubbleroon by breaking off a part and crumbling it under the running water of a bath to make amazing and sweet smelling baths! The main ingredient which greats the beautiful smell is Rose Absolute, this is used by aroma therapists to restore balance and lift mood so is good if you’re having a hard day. I’ve put it here because I absolutely love the smell and it is the best thing when I want a nice hot bath to help lighten my mood.

3. Wiccy Magic Muscles Massage Bar £6.50:

So this is another one that my boyfriend has to be given credit for! It is one of my all-time favourites now because it is so nice and eases so much tension in my back. So the best way to use a massage bar is warm it up a tiny bit and then just massage it into your skin, with this one, use the darker side as it works like deep heat and stimulates the circulation. The peppermint and cinnamon oils work to help the aches and pains also so this one is amazing for me. However, if you don’t like the smell of cinnamon I wouldn’t recommend as this one has a very strong scent. This is amazing though and I really need to get another one as I’ve used most of mine already!

2. Seanik Shampoo Bar £5.95:

This one is looking a bit sad in the picture because of how much I’ve used it but it’s because it is amazing for my hair. You use shampoo bars by creating a lather in your hands as you would a soap and then rubbing it into your hair, or by just scrubbing the bar on your head which is always fun! The Seanik shampoo bar is good for very flat and fine hair like mine as it creates natural waves as if contains nori seaweed, sea salt and mimosa absolute. My hair actually feels bouncy for once in my life and with this, I use less conditioner as it is very nice to the hair and makes it feel softer too. It has lasted a long time as well, I’ve has this one for about 5 weeks and wash my hair probably 5 times a week and it’s still got a normal shape to it and a lot more washes to go! A really good, fresh-scented shampoo bar.

1.Snow Fairy Shower Gel 250g £7.95:

Okay, this will always be my favourite product, a lot of people stock up on this when it comes to Christmas because it is such an amazing scent. It smells of candyfloss and honestly, makes me so happy when I use it. It’s just an uplifting smell and it stays on you for absolutely ages, the actual shower gel is very cleansing as well! I just can’t say any more about it really, it’s just the best.

LUSH REVIEW: Cupcake face mask!

Hey Guys!

So since I haven’t been posting as much as I would’ve liked to I wanted to kick off with a review on my absolute favourite lush product. I know this isn’t a seasonal one but it’s just so good and I had to share!

 IMG_0185 IMG_0186

So Cupcake is a fresh face mask from LUSH, the natural cosmetic store. The mask is made with all natural ingredients and is just the best. It’s especially made for oily skin and “teenage” skin (which I have been having quite a bit recently), so if you break out a lot this mask is perfect for you! It’s main ingredients are cocoa butter, linseed and cocoa powder which moisturises the face and gives it the lovely chocolatey smell that is just amazing, so good you will want to eat it (but please don’t).

To use the product it’s best to wash your face first so that it is clear of makeup and so that the mask has a clear base to stick on to. Then, put quite a thick layer of the face mask all over your face, if you do have oily skin try to focus on your t-zone as much as possible. Then you have to wait until the mask has completely hardened… taking selfies to send to your housemates is optional but I did it anyways!

This should take 5 to 10 minutes so just enjoy the smell and destress yourself for a bit. After this you can just wash it off with warm water and feel the difference, you’ll feel how smooth your skin is pretty much immediately!

So I hope you found this interesting and let me know if you have any ideas or requests!
